Nations have locked down. Borders are being secured. The greatest military powers in the world are helpless to fight and defend. Strangers are afraid of one another. Family members avoid one another. People are dying. The world’s economy is disrupted. Financial institutions are scrambling. Businesses large and small are severely impacted, some beyond recovery. All because of a microscopic virus.
“Be still and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth” (Ps 46:10). The world has an opportunity to recognize the Sovereign who controls all things. The world is being forced to bow its knee. Will it humble itself before the Creator of the Universe or continue to worship itself and its false gods? Will it repent and turn to God Almighty? Christian, be still and watch God’s hand at work as He rightfully exalts Himself. Watch the world’s response as it reveals who it worships.
At Fellowship Baptist church we will serve and worship the Most High God, the Father of heaven who loved us enough to send our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ that we would live in Him.
